Remember Russet Noon? The fanfic writer “LadySybilla” tried to actually sell her epically lame (and epically lengthy) fanfiction of Twilight, the epically annoying actually published books about sparkly vampires.
Sparkly vampires yay!
LadySybilla was chased down and hunted like a wild deer in West Virginia until she came as close to an apology as she is capable of and took down everything she’d ever put up about Russet Noon – press release, the page on the website of her “publisher” (aka her), and wonderful preview youtube videos.
In her infinite wisdom, LadySybilla decided that she hadn’t had enough of her ass handed to her, so she put up another press release. (Don’t worry, I’ve screencapped in case she deletes when she gets all butthurt again.) Anyway, the basic point of what she’s saying is that there is a Universal Mind so EVERYTHING is fanfiction because characters that a book creates belong to everyone else in the world as well as the author. Would you like a translation? Here is is: “It isn’t my fault that I tried to make money off of an author’s creations and here’s a lame theory to prove it somebody call the Waaaambluance.”
The thing that makes LadySybilla so funny is that she is the epitome of just not getting it. She continues to stress the point that she should be admired because she gave up the idea of making money off of Russet Noon. She also continues to ignore the fact that she CANNOT and NEVER COULD make money off of fanfiction. LadySybilla also does not understand the difference between reinventing an old story and making it your own v. plaigerism.
But the bottom line is that I have tried my best to make amends. If I wanted to, I could still be selling pre-order copies of Russet Noon via less well-known distributors. Whether anyone believes me or not, I’m telling the truth. I have altogether given up on trying to make money off of Russet Noon, but no one pays attention to that. – LadySybilla
I don’t think there’s really any hope for this one; we just have to pray that she keeps being funny.

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHH butthurt <3 i can’t believe it took this long for this drama to go down though! i was honestly expecting her to get her ass handed to her within 24 hours (since twilight is bigger than kanye west’s ego).
the more you write about this the more i REALLY WANT TO READ IT! we should find a bootlegged published version

@Maria, so far there is no published version at all. She was selling on eBay for a release that wasn’t supposed to happen until Sept. The only evidence that it exists is that she says it does; no one has seen it but the people who live in her head.
